As an IU grad, Tom started his life long passion for design and building with Pulte Homes. It was during this time that Tom also purchased his first home in Broad Ripple, IN. Tom's love of remodeling sparked during his remodel of his own home. After his third successful year with Pulte, Tom decided to pursue his remodeling dream and started his business plan for Custom Living. 

He wanted to give remodeling a better image, and make it a pleasant, custom experience for homeowners. Bullishly, he wanted to create a predictable experience in an unpredictable industry.

Within the first year of business, Tom gained the label of being an honest and trustworthy remodeler as referrals started to build the company. Tom has grown Custom Living into a thriving remodeling company that has now successfully remodeled over 800 jobs in the Indianapolis and surrounding area.
